The J2152A is a calibrator for oscilloscope probes. Most 50 Ohm based probe calibrators give an incorrect response.
The J2152A works by using a hyper fast pulse step whose source has a near-zero impedance which is much less than the probe tip impedance.
This is accomplished with a unique ultra-high-speed GaN driver. The pulse response can then be optimized providing the correct compensation.
