The J2114A is a solid-state high CMRR (> 100dB) Amplifier or ground loop isolator, that provides the BEST isolation for low impedance measurements. The J2114A removes the groups loops associated with VNAs and Oscilloscopes which occur in many different types of test setups.
Key Features
- Enables measurement of micro ohm impedances
- Greater than 100dB isolation
- Eliminates DC ground loop down to DC
- Works up to 10MHz
- Supports the 2 Port Shunt Thru impedance measurement required for Power Distribution Networks (PDNs)
- Works with all types of test equipment to eliminate ground loops, such as Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers
- Excellent CMRR performance
- Popular for oscilloscopes – isolate probe grounds – J2114A is optimized for pulse response
- Perfect for ultra-low impedance PDN measurements
Custom machined and bench-tested ultra-low value precision resistors
Included with J2114A purchase:
Three (3) resistors, one (1) from each range: 30-40 uΩ, 60-85 uΩ, and 100-125 uΩ
One (1) Shorting block (~ 1uohm)
Note: resistor values may vary but value will be marked when delivered.
Benefits
- Known measured values using a NIST-traceable DC measurement
- Test setup validation using known value resistance
- Improved Calibration
- Improve the accuracy of your PDN impedance test setups
- Includes universal Kelvin probe pads
- Lower value resistance than is available off-the-shelf
- Works with the all 2-port probing solutions
The J2114As frequency response, as shown below, is flat from DC to over 10MHz, all while maintaining 50Ohm impedance at both the input and the output for accurate, low-noise measurements. It allows measurements both lower and higher in frequency than what is achievable with a Common Mode Transformer. The J2114A supports ultra-low power distribution network (PDN) impedance measurement, component measurement, PSRR testing, and many other applications. The J2114A is USB-powered and internally has a +/-12V isolated DC/DC converter. The input voltage range is approximately +/-10V without attenuating probes or DC blocks.
